Simons 5.2 mile walk on 24 May, a reprise of the bluebell walk round Kings wood  Starting from the George & visiting the "Eighth Wonder Glade".

Hythe Waterfront walk

Dead flat 4.5 miler from The Waterfront at Hythe in beautiful sunshine.

The Bowl Charing


Phil & Shirley's  4.5 mile walk from the the Bowl at Charing. Passing the Plough at stalisfield and on to  Visit  "the Lady in the wood" at Kite hill wood.

Returning to a warm fire and lunch at the Bowl. 

Rye Harbour & William the Conqueror

Simon's 4.7 mile stroll around the Rye Harbour nature reserve visiting the Mary Sandford lifeboat station and the Discovery centre.

A Greek themed lunch at William the Conqueror warmed us all up


The Wishful Thinker , Lenham Heath

Phill and Rosemarie's 4.8 mile walk round their manor giving us a new view of familiar territory.

Rose & Crown through Dering Woods, Park Farm and back, 5 miles

The Darent Valley

Simons  4.5 mile linear walk including a train ride from Shoreham to Eynsford or vice versa.

The Woolpack, Smeeth

Phill And Rosemarie led a 4 mile walk from the  Woolpack in Smeeth/ Brabourne Lees a pleasant  walk  with beautiful views  we were also able to observe the Deer  in Deer  Park.

Headcorn Church walk

Jean and Monica led the 4 miler from the church at Headcorn which featured our own aerobatic spitfire display!

The Castle Inn, Faversham.

Sarah and Colins walk around Oare Marshes 

starting at The Castle Inn,  Faversham.   An easy, circular walk, about 4.5 miles long.   Very Flat, no hills, no styles, fabulous views, and lots to see.  


The Swan & Dog Great Chart

Starting from the Swan and Dog at  Great Chart  this circular walk is 4.8 miles easy walking across farm pasture, Good views across Ashford a section of road then passing through Godinton Park.  A couple of stiles,  


The Windmill Hollingbourne

Pats  4.7 mile walk  in March

From the windmill   crossing the M20 and through the grounds of Leeds Castle  A bit muddy underfoot through Coombe wood .

Village Hall Challock

Sarah & Colin's snowdrop walk from the Village Hall  to see the Snowdrops in the churchyard 

and calling in to see the spectacular murals in the Church  3.5 Miles

Mountain Street, Chilham

Simon's glorious 4 miler along the North Downs Way into Kings Wood with views of Canterbury Cathedral and Godmersham Park

The Rose and Crown Pluckley

Pats  5.2 mile walk  in February

Uphill along footpaths in Pluckley returning down to the the Rose and Crown  via Egerton paths.   A bit muddy underfoot but enjoyable nonetheless.

Charing & Westwell Downs

Jean and Monica led a testing 5.75 miler from Charing Playing Fields on a very cold day. Happily we were soon warmed up by the Battle of Pett Farm!

A  4.5 Mile walk up hill towards the Crown on a wet and breezy day  returning down through the nature reserve  to the New Flying Horse in Wye 


The Stag, Challock

A pleasant 3.7 Mile walk across arable land  passing St Peter's Church at Molash and on through Kings wood  returning to to the Stag 

The Chaser, Shipbourne

4 miler visiting Igtham Mote and Fairlawne House with views of Hadlow Tower

The Granville - Lower Hardres

Pats 4.4 mile  walk  from the Granville with spectacular views  over Petham whilst pausing  during the 55ft climb out of the village and  then returning towards Lower Hardres

A familiar walk from the past  but this time in reverse

3.7 mile walk Led by Pat from the football pitch. Easy going, few stiles and pleasant countryside on our door step but this time in Anticlockwise  direction still with good views of the working sand pit.

Sutton Valence - Kings Head

A very pleasant walk. 

Howfield Manor Chartham

Another wet one. 4.5 easy miles in driving rain and an endless wait for lunch. Apart from that it was wonderful!

Rye Harbour

Simon led a 4.5 mile walk round the nature reserve. Flat, easy with visits to the lifeboat house and new visitor centre

4.2 mile walk led by Phil and Shirley from The Shipwrights Arms . With a welcome  cooling breeze on a very hot day 

The Star and Eagle Goudhurst

Jean  & Monicas walk 4.6 miles , through beautiful countryside  with panoramic views  towards Paddock wood, Marden & Horsmonden.

The George and Dragon Headcorn

Pats walk,   starting from Headcorn Church the walk itself is completely flat, very pleasant, between 3.5 to 4 miles  returning to the George and Dragon in the High Street for our lunch.     


Canterbury Bridges

Simon led this 3.5 mile urban walk following the Stour through Central Canterbury visiting 45 bridges along the way and included a flying visit to the Franciscan Gardens (2 bridges)
